Congratulations to our Chapter President, Tharini R.K, on being elected the Georgia FBLA State North Metro Area Vice President! We're so proud of her and much more is to come! She'll do great!
Congratulations to our member, Abhishek Pasupeleti, on becoming a Region Officer! We're so proud of him and much more is to come!
If you are interested in becoming an FBLA officer for the 2020-21 school year. Read and complete the survey link below by Friday, May 1 at 5:00 pm. No late applications will be accepted. Please read through the survey header thoroughly to make sure you meet the qualifications to apply and can meet the expectations if you are selected. Also, send your resume to email@example.com by May 1 at 5:00 pm. See the officer job descriptions attached to this email. You may apply for two (2) positions. Officer positions are decided by application, resume, and interview.
You must complete your Future Level BAA to be considered. There is still time to complete this by April 24th. If you need your login, contact Mrs. Yonk through itslearning to request it.
In addition to the 10 positions specifically listed in the survey, we also fill five (7) Deputy positions which support some of our primary officer positions. This is a great way to train for a future officer position. We understand that being an officer does not fit into everyone’s plan. You can serve and lead in many different ways in our chapter.
We look forward to your interest in leadership.
Georgia FBLA will be able to refund the student housing costs back to our FBLA chapter. Since the competitive events will be completed and awards made, there is still a registration cost of $50 per student.

March of Dimes helps to provide vital services for moms and babies, especially babies born sick or too soon, who are at risk. This year, since we are unable to walk around with our buckets, we encourage you guys to sign up for your own page on the March of Dimes website as a member of our team so that you can raise money electronically! The link to join the team is below! You get 1 hour of service for every $5 raised!
If you do not want to fundraise, We would really appreciate it if you could help by donating to our team. You can do so right on our page by clicking the pink DONATE TO TEAM button. Thank you for helping us give all babies a healthy start!
Every day, thousands of babies are born too soon, too small and often very sick. One of our advisers, Mr. O'Connor, never had the chance to meet his baby brother because he was born prematurely and with birth defects and died at just 1-month-old. Our team is walking in March for these babies because we want to do something about this. I know you care, too. That's why we're asking you to join us.
SLC Winners List (Part I - Skills & Online Events + LCABR)
Events with a presentation/interview component will be announced on May 1st.
Congrats to the winners and NLC qualifiers! You guys make us proud!
In light of the current health issues and concerns resulting from the coronavirus (COVID-19), the Georgia FBLA Board of Directors has made the most difficult decision to cancel our 2020 State Leadership Conference. While a variety of factors influenced this decision, be assured that the health and safety of our students and stakeholders has always been our primary concern.
